Support and mobility scholarships

ERASMUS

Erasmus is the mobility programme of the European Commission in the educational sector. The programme, including academic exchanges and internships in companies, intents to strengthen the cooperation between European universities and permits that students obtain academic benefits in the fields of education, language and culture.

The scholarships belonging to the Erasmus programme are exclusive, so a student cannot obtain support by more than one Erasmus scholarship at the same time.

It is indispensable and obligatory that the student verifies that he or she fulfils the requirements to apply for support.

All the beneficiaries of a Erasmus mobility place, regardless whether they obtain a scholarship or not, have to sign a financial agreement with three appendices. For more information, go to the page of the Service of the Academic Administration (only available in Spanish/Catalan).The three types of support that can be selected are the following:

Support Erasmus+

Within the new Erasmus+ programme, the students can do mobility programmes of 12 months during each educational cycle (bachelor, master and PHD) and from this 12 months there have to be deducted the benefits, already obtained in former programmes PAP 2007-2013 Erasmus Studies (SMS) and Erasmus Internships (SMP).

Furthermore, it is possible to obtain complementary Erasmus support, in case of an economically disadvantaged situation

For detailed information about requirements, dates and procedures of the application, go to the page of the Service of Academic Administration.

The main criteria for granting MOBINT supports is the academic one, but other criteria, like language skills required at the host university or at the destination country, are taken into account for the evaluation of the applications.
